Revenants Defeat Venezuela 2-1 in Series Opener

The Texan Revenants opened their 2026 season with a hard-fought 2-1 series victory over the Venezuelan Araguatos. The team took the first two games before falling in a tight game on the final night. The three-game set saw the Revenants showcase their pitching depth and timely hitting against a tough international opponent.

The Revenants opened the series with a 3-1 victory. The offense woke up in the third inning, scoring two runs to take the early lead. The Araguatos would answer back with a single tally in the sixth but it was not enough to overcome the deficit. The Revenants added an insurance run in the seventh to seal the win. Andrew Clark was sharp on the mound, limiting the opposition to one run and six strikeouts.

Andrew looked natural and healthy out there. Not once did he look out of place on the mound. He looked exactly like he did during our preseason prep. Smooth.
